GIRL, 8, ASSAULTED BY BEDROOM INTRUDER
FRIGHTENING CCTV footage has captured a pervert climbing in through a little girl’s bedroom window in the dead of night.
After indecently assaulting the eight-yearold girl, the hooded man was again seen climbing back out the window, jumping a fence and running off.
The shocking footage came to light yesterday as police in Sydney hunted for the man, who spoke to the girl in either an Australian or British accent as he indecently assaulted her in the early hours of Monday.
The security footage, taken from a neighbouring property, shows him climbing head-first in through the window at 2.52am, and back out again at 2.54am.
The girl immediately ran to alert her mother, who called police.
The two-minute attack has left the girl and her family traumatised, and also terrified their neighbourhood.
Jim Koutsovasiles, who lives a few doors away, said he was horrified. “I have eight grandchildren ... I’ll have to tell the boys about this,” the 81-year-old said.
He said he feared “this is not his first time”.
“They need to fingerprint (the area) and catch him,” he said.
