A STREET PARTY FOR DOROTHY

FOR many, many years the indefatigable Dorothy Jackson was a fixture at the long gone Chevron Paradise Hotel. Her welcoming smile was always in place during her time looking after the varied needs of tourist and local alike. Last week Dorothy turned 90 years young and her neighbours organised a special treat – a street party. “It was so lovely. Everybody came, we all sat around and just had a great time.” And since you asked, she is fighting fit and loving life.
