REAL BIRTHDAY SURPRISE FOR AJ

THIS week GOLD FM’s Adrian ‘AJ’ Johnston celebrated his birthday. In honour of the big day Spida Everitt suggested lunch at a well-known eatery. “I know the owner,” said Spida. “Leave it with me to ‘organise’ something.” Off to lunch went the party, sampling the best wine, enjoying great food and generally having a very merry time. Other guests drifted away and at 5pm AJ was handed a sizeable tab. He mentioned the arrangement with the proprietor. “I’m sorry sir. He hasn’t been owner here for two years. His restaurant is across the road.” Cue AJ’s face turning grey and some frenzied calls to organise a new ‘arrangement’.
