Cabrera hunts wildcard

RISING Townsville tennis star Lizette Cabrera is chasing a place in the French Open.

The 20-year-old will vie for a wildcard entry this weekend against six other Australian Roland Garros hopefuls – Victorians Destanee Aiava, Arina Rodionova, Jaimee Fourlis, Storm Sanders, Isabelle Wallace and Priscilla Hon (Qld).

Cabrera leads the rankings (WTA 158) and is ranked Australia’s No.7 women’s player.
