Jaguars beaten first-up

THE Golden South Jaguars have opened their Queensland State Netball League campaign with a five-point loss to Suncoast Lynx at Logan.

After rebuilding their side under returning coach Paula Stuart, the new look Jags failed their first test 44-39 on Tuesday night against a Lynx outfit expected to be one of the competition’s big improvers.

Golden South next play Brisbane West on Tuesday.
