FRESHWATER: Good conditions for flathead bream and whiting. Still a lot of trevally and the occasional jewfish in the rivers. Tilapia in the streams around Robina, Clear Island Waters, as well as bass in the Hinze Dam.

JUMPINPIN: Tailor, trevally and occasional kingfish around on the high tides, and Australian salmon expected to begin schooling in the area as water temperatur­es lower. Bream biting around Jacobs Well, Crusoe Island and Kalinga Bank. Sand crabs still common along the beaches and edges of channels.

OFFSHORE: Snapper still appearing closer in as cold weather starts to set in, along the 18 and 24 fathom reefs in the early mornings or late evenings. Parrotfish and treg jewfish, as well as tailor and bream also around. Yellowtail kingfish and amberjack being caught further out on the 50 fathom reefs, with blue marlin out wide.
