Ogle lands in the wuff
A BITTER dispute between champion golfer Brett Ogle and his neighbours – sparked by a barking Maltese Shih tzu called Ollie – has degenerated in to a costly legal battle involving high-priced lawyers.
Alexandra Kipouridis wants a court to grant a formal intervention order against Ogle, who is her neighbour in the Melbourne suburb of Malvern East, claiming she had been forced to call police because of his behaviour, which allegedly included standing on a ladder and abusing her over their rear fence and on another occasion threatening her son.
Ogle’s lawyer Francis Scully told an earlier hearing the neighbours had fallen out over the Kipouridis’ dog Ollie, which he described as a “small white ball of fluff” with a “highpitched bark”.
