Firies put on fun day

CALLING fire fighters.

Currumbin Valley Rural Fire Brigade’s annual free community and family event is on this Sunday with free kids rides and activities.

The event, which has grown to be the rural fire brigade’s biggest event in Queensland, will feature ‘little squirt’ mini fire truck rides, a bouncy castle, giant obstacle course, sixmetre high slide, live music, face painting, fire demonstrations and food and drinks. The kids will even get the chance to have a tour of a real fire truck.
