THE things you find out when you are loitering at the back of the room. Over the years we have witnessed Soheil Abedian’s (above, with wife Anne) many acts of philanthropy. He has contributed large donations to deserving charities, was a major contributor to the Abedian School of Architecture at Bond University and now this justdiscovered gem. In an astonishing act of continuing generosity, Soheil and Anne have gifted close to 200 scholarships to both Bond and Griffith Universities. That is 200 young lives changed forever and the ripple effect means that the lives of their families, both now and in the future, are also changed.
