JOHN-PAUL’S SURFERS BACKLASH

JOHN-PAUL Langbroek was in State Parliament, from where he sits, probably trying to do the right thing by his council friends.

He takes aim at a leading lobbying group making complaints to the Crime and Corruption Commission, trying to save the Bruce Bishop Carpark.

The membership of Save Surfers Paradise includes judges and solicitors, and the city’s old school top business leaders.

They are a respectful lot, will not go public but they are sending private letters to their MP demanding an apology.
