THREE teens have been charged over an alleged armed robbery at Surfers Paradise.

Police say the minors aged 13, 14 and 15 were involved in the brazen attack on a 20-yearold woman on Northcliffe Tce at around 2am on Friday.

The victim was approached by the two girls and a boy at the intersection of Clifford St, after she had crossed the road to avoid the group.

One of the girls pulled the woman’s hair and then threw her to the ground.

The woman’s mobile phone and bag were taken.

All three fled and were later arrested by police at Cavill Ave that morning.

Both the 14-year-old Woodridge girl and 15-year-old Slacks Creek girl have been charged with armed robbery.

The 13-year-old Woodridge boy was charged with receiving tainted property.
