QPAC to go to new level

A NEW $150 million theatre in Brisbane will make Queensland the state with the largest performing arts space in Australia.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced the new Queensland Performing Arts Centre theatre yesterday with the 1500 to 1700-seat space set to be complete by 2022.

The Queensland government will set aside $125 million in this year’s State Budget with the additional $25 million coming from QPAC.
