Cat scats to tell a story

NEXT time you clean out the litter box, you might want to think before you throw out your beloved pet’s ‘waste’.

A Griffith University research team is asking cat owners to send in scat samples, to determine just what they’re getting their paws on and eating while out and about.

The research hopes to create a better understanding of what impact domestic cats might be having on local environment.

Those interested can complete a survey online to find out whether they’re eligible to take part.
