NVL snaps up clinics

ORMEAU-BASED National Veterinary Care has bought two more clinics — taking its total number of businesses to 67.

NVL said the acquisitions are subject to due diligence, with terms being finalised for a third clinic.

They are located in “existing clusters” in Queensland and Victoria.

NVL said total consideration for the clinics is $9.6 million with upfront payments of $6.56 million.

Managing director Tomas Steenackers said the purchases take its total number acquired in FY18 to 14 clinics.
