LEWIS Hamilton has taken his campaign to improve the quality of Formula One in Monaco to the monarch, Prince Albert.

After Sunday’s tedious procession, the world champion wants the design of the 2.1-mile track altered to increase opportunities for overtaking.

Hamilton, who was third in a race dominated by Daniel Ricciardo despite his Red Bull being stuck in sixth gear, said: ‘What can we do to make this race better? I spoke to Prince Albert and said maybe we should make it longer.” STEPHEN Curry inspired a second-half fightback as the reigning champion Golden State Warriors booked their fourth consecutive NBA finals appearance with a 101-92 victory over the Houston Rockets.

Curry scored 27 points with Kevin Durant adding 34 as the Warriors advanced to an unprecedented fourth NBA finals meeting in a row against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Warriors’ Western Conference finals game seven victory in Houston handed them a 4-3 series win. QUEENSLAND’S Will Power has earned $3.3 million for winning the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500.

The overall purse for the 33 drivers was more than $17 million.

Power, 37, took the lead with four laps to go when Oriol Servia and Jack Harvey had to pit for fuel, and held off pole winner Ed Carpenter over the final few laps.
