● The M1 is heavily gridlocked with upgrades slow to gain funding support and delaying the works beginning. Gold Coast residents rate the road poorly and say more needs to be done to improve the situation on the city’s motorway and the feeder roads on and off it. ● The Light rail’s first two stages have proven popular and a third stage is inevitable. But once the southern routes travel south, where should it go next? The city is growing fast, but the light rail network is only slowly falling into place. Does it need to happen faster? Possible East-West routes have been proposed but are at least a decade away.

● Should we route heavy rail to the airport, or have ferries ply the Broadwater? Both projects which have been mooted and dumped to the backburner by successive governments.
