JUMPINPIN: Sea bream around Crusoe Island in the early mornings, with flathead around Cabbage Tree Point, Walleys Gutter and Jacobs Well. Tailor are also biting around the entrance to the Jumpinpin Bar and the beaches of South Stradbroke Island. Sand crabs and mud crabs still hanging around in the shallow creeks, when the bigger tides come in.

BROADWATER: Baitfish are still bringing in tailor, trevally as well as the usual bream and flathead. Dart, bream, whiting and tailor have been caught along the Spit increasing­ly as it gets dark.

FRESHWATER: Bass in the non tidal areas of Clear Island Waters and the Robina Parkway bridges, as well as in their usual spots in the Hinze Dam.

OFFSHORE: Snapper are appearing in close reefs east of the Seaway, as well as Diamond Reef and other inshore pinnacles in the early hours of the morning. Jewfish are in a similar area, most common throughout the night and sometimes in the early mornings also. Mackerel have also been seen on reefs near Mermaid and Palm Beach.
