Masters to find touch

TOUCH 7s – the love-child of rugby union and touch football – and is set to make its debut on the world stage, right here on the Gold Coast.

The new form of rugby union has been listed as one of the major sports at the 2018 Pan Pacific Masters Gamers in November.

Feeling there was a specialty market for a semi-contact, team sport that would appeal to the 30-somethings, Rugby Australia is calling on Aussies to register for the fresh event.

“Instead of looking for, or engaging contact, it’s about looking for space, running into gaps and holes,” Rugby Australia National Growth and Coaching manager Cameron Tradell said.
