Bail after fatal crash

A GOLD Coast man accused of being drunk behind the wheel and causing a crash which killed his wife at Tallai made his first appearance in court yesterday.

Peter Dowker, 47, received bail after a brief appearance in the Southport Magistrates Court in relation to the 2017 crash at The Panorama which killed his wife Lana Hufnagl.

Police allege Dowker, of Miami, was drunk behind the wheel on July 9 last year. His case was adjourned until July 5 for case conferencing.
