Body there for decade
THE mummified corpse of a suspected murder victim found in a ramshackle home on Sydney’s lower north shore had been inside the property for at least 10 years, police say.
Cleaners sent to clear out the property of Bruce Roberts, a recluse and hoarder, who died of natural causes last July, discovered the skeletal remains of Shane Snellman among his junk last Tuesday.
The remains were so badly decomposed a post-mortem was required to determine gender and age. NSW Police yesterday said the body had been in the house for at least a decade.
