KINDNESS OF OTHERS SMILES ON LARISSA

-

WHEN Larissa Collins got stranded at her local Coles at Pacific Pines after her car had broken down and her phone was flat, the Maudsland mum was at a loss.

It was getting dark, and two of her children who were with her were becoming anxious with no way of getting home and no phone to call from.

Sensing her distress, a “gentleman” came forward and offered to pay for an uber for her to get home.

“I asked him could if I could get his number or name so I could repay him.

“His only request was for me to pay it forward.

“Such a gentleman, so incredibly grateful and I have paid it forward. It made me realise chivalry and kindness still exists and I just want to say thank you to him.”

But this is not the first time the local mum has had her faith in humanity restored.

In April, her son dropped his wallet at Westfield Helensvale and after a thorough search, the wallet wasn’t found.

That was until a “lovely” mystery lady dropped it off to them.

“We are so lucky and grateful. All I can say is a big heartfelt thank you sincerely for (her) honesty and kindness.”
