NOTORIOUS former Gold Coast bikie Chris Bloomfield forged a document claiming he finished a motorbike course so he could get his motorcycle licence, a court has heard.

Bloomfield, a former Hells Angels standover man, is already serving four years and three months’ jail for extortion relating to a $16,000 drug debt.

He yesterday pleaded guilty to fraud and unlawful use of a motor vehicle and was sentenced in Southport Magistrates Court to another four months prison which will run concurrently with his extortion jail term.

He threatened to kill a man and shoot his family over the debt in 2014.

The former rising rugby league star made national headlines in 2016 when he appeared in a controversial Snapchat video with Jarryd Hayne waving a wad of cash and saying: “Sweet. Haynesy just gave me five grand.”

Hayne later denied knowing Bloomfield but was warned against associating with criminals by the NRL, which cleared him of wrongdoing.

Bloomfield yesterday appeared in court via videolink and was restless while the matter was discussed in court.

He moved constantly in his chair, stretching and fidgeting while proceedings progressed.

Bloomfield thanked Magistrate Mark Howden when he found out his jail term would not be extended.

The court heard police in July 2015 found a forged document claiming he had completed course.

Bloomfield then used those documents to get a motorcycle licence through the Department of Transport.

The court was also told Bloomfield was caught with a stolen car when police came to raid his Robina house.

Defence lawyer Adam Guest, of Guest Lawyers, said if these matters were heard at the same time as the extortion case Bloomfield would not have received a longer prison term.

Mr Howden said he agreed and ordered the additional four months be served concurrently.

He also fined

$300 for forging
