NEW ‘JOCKEY’ FOR BROKER

MIKE Buys, broker and racehorse owner, has changed “jockeys” as he tries to sell an apartment in The Ocean Isles at Main Beach.

The Brisbane-based Buys, via company Gurravembi Investments, bought the apartment for $3.8 million in 2010 and put it on the market in March.

It appears Buys, whose racehorse partners have included Magic Millions joint owner Gerry Harvey, couldn’t get a buyer over the line and he’s hired a new agent and is chasing $6 million or more.
