Marlins go to market

TWEED United coach Jason Buchanan could bring in some reinforcements as early as this week in a bid to turn around the Marlins’ Gold Coast Premier League campaign.

Speaking after Friday’s 4-1 loss to Palm Beach, their sixth in eight games, Buchanan said he would make some signings.

“We know what we need to do, we need to add a bit of quality to the team and we’ll do that hopefully over the coming days. We definitely need to add to the squad,” he said.

“It took until the second half before we got going (against Palm Beach). We just need to keep plugging away.”

The Sharks travel to Murwillumbah on Friday night.
