Well done to organisers and participants. Cooly really rocks on - fantastic cars, great music and wonderful to see so many people, young and old dressed for the occasion.

AG Christian Porter wants to bring churches and charities into the government. Rather than that why don’t you start funding the courts so that they can perform their duties and functions independently, just as Chapter 3 of the Australian Constitution provides for. Clearly the AG Christian Porter lacks the legal essence required for his position of authority and trust, typical of the Turnbull government. Trust me

Will the foreign interference laws stop new Australians who are permanent residents putting heat on the Turnbull regime?

When Campbell Newman passed the VLAD Act his government also made amendments to the Local Government Act that effectively made councils and councillors above the law, but Newman clearly forgot to amend the definition of conflict of interest contained in the Queensland Criminal Code.

Peter Dutton are you a dual citizen?

The classic mustang is styled on a shark, the new one looks like a tawny frogmouth owl. Kirk out!

Get off your bike you mindless, miserable motorists. Bike riders have rights too and even if they crash they at least don’t kill people. You boof heads.

Congrats to Jeff Horn for what you have achieved. Time to rest and enjoy your family life so in years ahead you and family can remember the good times before you try to remember who those people around you are. Doug

Re children services laws? Have made it now no one can discipline them. They know it and don’t care, do what they want, crime, drugs, underage sex, leave school and no one can touch them. These laws will be society’s undoing in years to come, they’re creating criminals, and the flip side is the children’s services have failed many children and they’ve died because of it. If parents can’t discipline their kids at home (not abuse) then society pays for it. Bring back the smack.

Who were the neighbours from hell in Ernest St letting off fireworks at 11pm Saturday evening and again at 3.30am Sunday morning? Still suffering from lack of sleep

PFT – petrol cost to NSW recycling centre. Someone with more than half a brain would only go there if they were going that way. Unfortunately there are quite a few people in Palm Beach with less than half a brain. John, Palm Beach. If Trump and Kim cannot come to agreement in Singapore they could go over to Japan and Sumo wrestle instead. Dave

Don’t you think there’s enough violence in this world without calling it sport! Getting paid to inflict pain and 16 stitches for the sake of money is not anything like sport should be. Concerned Nanna, Palm Beach.

Shut up all you useless Trump haters. At least he has the guts to have a go ... an admired Aussie trait!

Freddy 6th June Chatroom, YES refs must be blind for missing maroons’ ten forward passes and multiple high tackles. About time calls went 50/50 and not northerly. Exocet. Channel 9 Thursday’s Footy Show, how hopeless is this show now, what have you done Ch. 9? Total disaster!

Jeff Horn says I’m not hurt. Really. Unable to open his eyes. Had 16 stitches to his face. Hate to see him if he got hurt. This stupid game should be outlawed, punch someone on the street and you could go to jail. Yet they get paid millions to punch the daylights out of each other. That’s not sport, it’s absolute madness. JW.

Noel. the HSOs have a lot to answer for given they are mostly the ones smoking and turning the other eye

Re thought diversity at university. The ANU is accepting millions from Islamic countries and the students are being taught propaganda so they can get jobs at the UN who have made more rulings against Israel than all the surrounding Islamic countries put together. Just for protecting itself. Never mind their neighbours’ stoning women to death for being raped or throwing men of buildings for being gay! Johnbrew

Watching Broncos Storm game, why have we got young children running out with kicking toes and fixing the corner post, it will all turn to crap when they get hurt. Just asking

Well didn’t Rita Panahi nail it in her piece in Monday’s

Diversity Not In The Syllabus. Onya Rita. She’s right, hopelessly biased academics that are hijacking our education system. Grrrrr. Vern
