NORTH STRADBROKE: Bream, dart, whiting along the beaches.

SOUTHPORT: Snapper and mulloway early mornings on the 24s, tailor at night and sand whiting in the low tide beach gutters. Snapper around the washes in the Seaway and flathead at the northern end and mud crabs in the creeks.

CURRUMBIN: School mackerel on the gravel patch east of Burleigh, tailor offshore form Palm Beach, chopper tailor and dart along the beaches and bream, flathead and whiting in the lower reaches of Currumbin and Tallebudge­ra Creeks.

TWEED: Bream, tailor and trevally on lures in the lower reaches of the Tweed River.

HINZE DAM: Bass and saratoga early morning on spinner baits near the timber in the western arm and bass during the day on vibes in deeper parts.
