Kruse tells of ordeal

-

BRAZIL 2014 heartbreak player Robbie Kruse says his injury devastation meant he could not bring himself to watch the last World Cup.

Kruse is preparing for a key role against France after finally regaining his rhythm after a string of injury horrors starting on the eve of the 2014 Cup.

Then a confident Bundesliga and Champions League winger with 29 caps under his belt, Kruse tore knee ligaments which left him shell-shocked.

“I saw the last 20 minutes of the Chile game through the airport. Didn’t watch any other (Socceroos) games,’’ he said.
