Training company finds a groove

-

AFTER securing more than $187,000 in investment on the TV show Shark Tank, Gold Coast company ISR Training is on track to crack its first million in revenue this year.

Co-founded by Ryan Tuckwood and Jack Corbett in 2014, ISR Training offers digital and one-on-one sales and business training, as well as a recruitment service.

Mr Tuckwood said their goal was to change the negative stereotypes which can be associated with sales. “We want to prove you don’t need to lie or use manipulation tactics to make a sale,” he said. “We want people to think of working in sales as a noble career.”

Sharks Glen Richards, Steve Baxter and Andrew Banks agreed to invest in a collective 30 per cent slice of the business, valuing the company at $625,000.
