Cook’s eyes on Ipswich

GOLD Coast Turf Club chairman Brett Cook had his usual busy day at Aquis Park but found time to take time out to watch the second race at the Ipswich Cup day meeting.

Cook is a part-owner of the Matthew Dunn-trained gelding Zamex, who the Ipswich Mile on Saturday.

The four-year-old was bred by Gold Coast racing identity Geoff Kerrison and Cook is among a host of people in the ownership.
