Deja vu for Coast

-

THE wheels are falling off for Gold Coast United in the NPL after slumping to a secondstraight 5-1 loss against Brisbane City on Saturday night.

Hoping to bounce back from their shock defeat at the hands of Redlands United on June 2, the Surfsiders crashed to a heavy loss after taking an early lead through JJ Prasad.

But a late scoring blitz from City, in which they bagged four goals in the final 15 minutes, has now left United searching for answers.

Coach Sean Lane said he hoped to get Acim Tomic, Brandon Reeves, Matthew Green and Uryu Nagata back for the Round 18 battle at home to Brisbane Strikers at 6pm on Saturday.

“We were well in the game for 70 minutes. Unfortunately the game lasts for 90,” he said.
