Back in jail for driver
A REPEAT Gold Coast driving offender has been sent back behind bars for driving while disqualified just two weeks after being released for doing the same thing.
Scott Timothy Young appeared in the Southport Magistrates Court yesterday for driving while disqualified on February 25 this year.
Young told police he was driving to a medical appointment.
The court heard Young became angry after realising his excuse wasn’t going to cut it and told officers they were trying to “f--- him over”.
Magistrate Kaye Philipson disqualified Young from driving for another three years and sentenced him to seven months in prison with a parole release date of September 4.
