Coast Bulletin (15/06) revealed the truth about victims of school bullying and hopefully will encourage parents to take a special interest in their children’s behavior pattern just in case they are acting different than usual, which could mean they might be a victim of school bullying, but too scared to talk about it to their parents, as in the case of Dolly Everett and other bullying victims who sadly ended their lives.

To read the story of a father who said his daughters had been forced into counselling because of relentless bullying and threats of violence, and a mother of a northern Gold Coast high school student who had to keep her 13 y/o boy at home because of constant bullying, is a shock to all of us.

For decent hard-working students to be threatened by out-ofcontrol

bullies is proof that the present Queensland Labor Government have not only allowed crime to spiral out of control since the departure of the Newman LNP Government, but is blindly allowing school bullying to increase at an alarming rate.

Annastacia Palaszczuk needs to be reminded that today’s school bullies are potentially tomorrow’s violent criminals. KEN WADE, TWEED HEADS
