Better surf to boost the Alley

-

THE Queensland Championship Circuit is set to wrap up on Sunday at surfing’s annual Alley Classic on the Gold Coast.

After event organisers were forced to postpone the event from June 16-17 due to poor surf conditions, the long-range surf forecast looks to have a consistent southeast swell growing throughout the week.

“The level of surfing from our competitors in the first two QCC events has been better than ever, we’re all looking forward to another great event this weekend and are stoked to see the girls surfing the Alley,” Surfing Queensland CEO Adam Yates said.

MP Classic men’s champion and QCC men’s series leader Lincoln Taylor (North Stradbroke) will enter the event in a great position, 500 points ahead of the closest trailing surfer, Jack Reginato (Alexandra Headland).
