UH OH … DEBATE CONTROVERSY

THE topic for the Great Debate staged by Women of Influence sounds fairly harmless. “Will a child born today have an equal chance to be a leader of tomorrow?” The affirmative team of Trish Hogan, Derek Cronin and Dr Robyn Cameron (see photo) was opposed by Shannon Willoughby, Erica Bartle and Luke Mathers. The mass debate began, they argued up and down, rebutted, reaffirmed and the judges gave the win to the affirmative. Then controversy – the opposition, much like Hillary’s loss to Donald, refused to accept the decision, demanded a recount and overturned the result. An appeal to the Supreme Court is nigh.
