IT is being hailed as the hottest burger in Australia and in a marketing move spiced up to the max, daredevil diners are being warned to eat it at their own peril.

Burger Urge’s limited run Double Decker Death Wish burger is said to be so hot that stores are asking diners to sign a waiver before they take a bite.

Customers are also being provided with goggles gloves to help them through their meal.

Burger Urge managing director Sean Carthew said the secret behind “Australia’s spiciest burger” was lashings of ghost chilli sauce.

“The Double Decker Death Wish is legitimate­ly the hottest burger in Australia,” he warned. “Those ghost chillies are no joke!” and get

Mr Carthew said the chilliwham­my burger might not be to everyone’s taste, but was proving popular among spice lovers.

“It is defintely not for everybody,” he said.

The burger is only available until Friday at the Burger Urge stores at Southport and Molendinar.
