$20k for eco-poetics

THE EMERGING literacy genre of eco-poetics has received $20,000 for a Gold Coast writer to produce an environmentalthemed book.

Poet Dr Jayne Fenton Keane’s book How To Read a Cloud will contain poems, images, memoir and more.

The book was awarded the funding after the Queensland Poetry Festival received $50,000 from the Queensland Arts Showcase Program. More than 250 projects have been funded since 2015.
