Terrorists go green
ISLAMIST terror group Al Shabaab is not known for its environmental good deeds, but it seems some members may have seen the light.
The murderous east African jihadists have announced that they have banned single-use plastic bags.
The Somali group, which has links to Al Qa’ida, said plastic “poses a serious threat to the wellbeing of humans and animals alike”. It also announced a ban on the logging of native trees.
Hypocritically, the brutal terrorists, who massacred dozens at Nairobi’s Westgate shopping mall in 2013, have not adopted the same ecological standards for Kenya’s elephants – ivory poaching has been used to fund their savage campaigns.
