Gargasoulas health query

MELBOURNE’S accused Bourke Street driver, who allegedly killed six pedestrians and injured dozens more, is due to face further scrutiny of his health ahead of a possible November trial.

James Gargasoulas appeared via video link in the Supreme Court of Victoria yesterday after a jury failed to agree unanimously in June on whether the 28-year-old was fit to stand trial.

Justice Mark Weinberg ordered Gargasoulas be subject to further investigations in October related to his mental health.
