ANN Wason Moore’s dig at Trump is unfortunate. More than half of America’s voters like and support him according to latest polls. So to say he is horrible is not so wise, especially as he really is making America great again after a hugely disappointing Obama reign.

Hey Johnbrew, great generalisation about homeless people. One, wow.

The answer to Johnathon Thurston not playing in game 3 is he has retired from rep football and who else would be willing to line up for another flogging. 3 straight – go the Blues! Mitcho, Palmy

Another soft magistrate starts her new position on the coast. Is it part of the description to a magistrate on the GC to be soft?

It amazes me that both political parties never argue on the issue of a pay rise. Why do we put up with this? Average worker struggling with high cost of living. They should be held accountable for what they earn and sacked if not up to the job. We deserve better. Modern Nan

Had to give job away, I was over watching the heartache of the elderly coming in when their fridges, washing machines, televisions packed up just after the lousy 1 year warranty. Should be illegal to sell such crap.

Re: Doug. So what is actually the issue you have with socialism? Clearly the much loved and lauded free enterprise and capitalist society is failing on many levels. GC Socialist

This supermarket ban on single use plastic bags is absolute rubbish! Australia is not a major pollutant of the seas and oceans. I challenge the greenie fanatics and their hangers on to take a trip up the yangtze river. It dumps almost 2 billion tonnes of plastic into the sea each year. Marty

Re-John brew. Sorry to read that the homeless chap didn’t fit into your view of homeless people. It’s complex and often includes mental health issues. Sorry the world does not revolve around you. Steve

I was an Australian property bubble sceptic but not anymore. Objective research without the spin reveals the Australian housing market is headed for major trouble. Reduced lending, impending interest rate rises, increasing household debt, poor wage growth and inevitable rising unemployment are going to sink house values for a verylong time. - Ken A big congratulations to whoever changed the speed limit along Marine Pde at Biggera Waters, I hope it is permanent. Happy Resident

Message to the titans ... now the team has turned the corner don’t stuff it up by buying some troublemaking prima donna. d.a.luig. So if I wear yoga pants I can get away with drinking in a public park? Thanks for the heads up. Johnbrew

Thanks Bulletin for the new puzzle pages, they're great! L. W.

Caught the bus and tram to Southport for GC marathon. Tram a pleasure, bus not. Why try to stop it going down the hwy through Palmie to Coolie? John Palm Beach

Wish these loser politicians and their tax cuts would shut up, and fix the bigger problems, CEOs’ pay packets, the fuel rip off, the power bills, the price of our now inferior foods, foreign crime, do you want me to go on?

Tradie Darryn, you are a champion and so humble to indicate that anyone would have done the same given the situation. Gold Coast we are blessed to have awesome tradies!

Well the price of the crap produce of Coles and Woolies should come down seeing they don't give bags out no more and you have to buy them. Mick

Rocket, I totally agree. BUT a couple of origins ago Josh Morris was awarded a try by ref BUT against all rules associated with bunker it was overturned with bizarre explanation that bunker could not determine either way so try was disallowed. Qld won game 6 to 4. Bunker blundered and did not stick to its purpose. Exocet.

Gold Coasters get behind our Suns and Coach Stuart Dew. It’s been a horrible year because of travel and the AFL don’t care but stick by them. George Kosir

Congratulations and plaudits must go to McDonald’s Upper Coomera on having the friendliest staff on the planet. Having coffee surrounded by smiling faces is a great way to start the day... Kenny

Labor says big banks pay no tax. But that they gain 17 billion if tax rate cut from 30% to 25%. Huh? Which lie is true? Maccas is becoming dear i'm switching over to Hungry Jacks whose burgers are much bigger than Maccas and cheaper. Darren a tradie.

Dozens have tried their hand at TV Interviews with well known celebrities. But none have shown the expertise and showmanship of Michael Parkinson. There is no substitute for talent.- Sinbad.
