Cordner is right to go

-

NSW captain Boyd Cordner has ended any doubts over his status for Origin III after training with the team for the first time this camp.

Cordner had been unable to train for the opening six days of camp due to a calf strain but he finally took to the field in the opposed session against the Blues’ under-20s team yesterday.

Forward Jack de Belin said “it wouldn’t be right” if Cordner didn’t take his place at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday and lift the shield at the end of the match.

“Knowing Boyd, he’ll be fine. He’ll be right to go.”
