IT’S A FAIRY GOOD TIME FOR THE KIDS AT ROBINA

- BRITT RAMSEY

GONE are the days when bored kids dreaded a trip to the shops.

Gold Coast shopping centres have been busily outdoing each other, devising ways to entertain children during the holidays.

Robina Town Centre has transformed part of The Kitchens into Rainforest Play and Story Rhyme Time for the holidays.

A large area has been transformed into a magical rainforest realm with an indoor play space teeming with trees, tipis and toys.

“It is so important to continue to create shopping experiences that are enjoyable, educational and easy going for families,” centre general manager Shaine Beveridge said.

Children can have fun exploring music, dance and their imaginations while parents enjoy a coffee or a bite to eat.

The play area has a spacious grassy section that features an road set up with wooden bridges for adventurers to navigate.

There are also comfy round and log-style cushions for children to snuggle up in, as well as chairs and tables for drawing and craft activities.
