Women left on footpath

-

A SYDNEY restaurant has copped a $2200 fine after staff dumped two women who’d drunk 16 shots in less than 40 minutes onto the footpath.

Three women entered the Gangnam Station Korean restaurant in Sussex St last November and drank eight shots of soju in 35 minutes.

Two of the women then collapsed. Staff and other patrons dumped the pair on the footpath.

Liquor authorities yesterday said it was one of the worst breaches of liquor laws in NSW in recent years.
