MUMS HAVE WRITE STUFF

BEST friends for more than 17 years, Hailey Bond and Jenna McIntyre are both your typical working mothers.

But what separates the 31-year-olds from other ”mum friends’’ is that the duo have published four full length novels and one novella under the combined author name of Haley Jenner.

“We find a lot of relaxation getting lost in a book,” said Ms Bond.

“Reading is a great passion of ours and it really fired our desire to give life to the ideas in our minds. Music is always a great motivator for us when we hit a roadblock in our writing.

“Our families have been incredibly supportive of this adventure.’’

The writers will be among 50 authors at a book-signing event, Romancing the Coast, at Mantra on View in Surfers Paradise on September 22.
