OFFSHORE: Clear weather making for good conditions with snapper on the 24 fathom reefs from the Seaway through to Surfers Paradise. Also plenty of parrot fish and occasional treg jew, leatherjac­ket and cobia. Along the 85-110 metre depths near Tweed Heads pearl perch, trag jew and snapper also being caught.

JUMPINPIN: Tailor around South Stradbroke Island and the Jumpinpin Bar, as well as flathead spread across the Jumpinpin area.

BROADWATER: Squid coming through the Broadwater, especially along the shoreline near boat ramps, piers and sea walls. Tailor in the evenings near Crab Island and many smaller flathead in the area.

FRESHWATER: Hinze Dam bass in the deeper waters. The odd saratoga also being caught.
