GOLD COAST BULLETIN IN RUNNING FOR NEWS AWARDS
THE Gold Coast Bulletin has been announced as a finalist in the 2018 News Media Awards.
The shortlist was released yesterday, showing the Bulletin was in the running to win Regional News Brand of the year.
The Newcastle Herald, NT News, Fiji Times, The Mercury and the Townsville Bulletin are also finalists.
The Bulletin was also recognised for its digital growth, with a nomination for Best Subscriber Acquisition Campaign, against The Daily Telegraph, Herald Sun, The Advertiser and The CourierMail.
Veteran photographer Glenn Hampson was announced a finalist for Regional News Photograph of the Year, for his shot of the Q1 shrouded in misty clouds.
Winners will be announced at the 2018 News Media Awards gala dinner on Friday, September 14 at the Hilton in Sydney.
