FISHING

-

OFFSHORE: In the 42-50 fathoms plenty of medium size snapper, pearl perch, pig fish and samson fish. Similar in closer on the 36 fathoms. The 24s you’ll find mulloway, pig fish, cobia and Moses perch. On the 18s same deal, and plenty of jewies at night on live baits.

BEACHES: Tailor. The pumping jetty and gutters out the back behind Marina Mirage are fishing well. Beaches are good all down the coast to Tweed.

SEAWAY: Lots of trevally – big eye and GTs. Jewfish on the pipe and flatties moving.

BROADWATER: Plenty of good sized flatties. Good bream too, and still a few sand crabs around. Up in the rivers, bream are good, and we’re finding flatties right up in the far reaches of Nerang, Coomera and Pimpama. Report supplied by Gold Coast Fishing Tackle.
