-

CABARITA’S Zahli Kelly looks to have secured top place on the WSL Pro Junior Qualifying Series with her runner-up finish at the Oz Grom Open at Lennox Head.

“I’m pretty happy with this result,” Kelly said after finishing second in the final to Nyxie Ryan, of Lennox Head.

“I think making the final means that I may have locked in a spot into the 2018 World Junior Championship as well, which was my main goal.”

New Zealander Te Kehukehu Butler won the men’s pro junior division, with Callum Robson, of Evans Head, second.
