Trad won’t swap seats

DEPUTY Premier Jackie Trad has guaranteed she will run in South Brisbane at the next state election due in 2020.

Ms Trad defended her loyalty to her electorate yesterday following speculation plans were afoot to parachute her into a safer seat to guarantee her future amid a rising Green vote in South Brisbane.

“I can guarantee I will be running for Labor in South Brisbane at the 2020 election, a community I have lived in for my entire life, a community I love and a community that I have had the enormous privilege of representing these past five years,” she said yesterday.
