BROADWATER: Tailor and whiting on the main beach gutters from Currumbin to Cabarita, best caught at the changing of the tides, particular­ly early mornings and late afternoons.

FRESHWATER: Quiet time with most fish dormant until temperatur­es rise.

OFFSHORE: Snapper in the wider reefs, joined by jewfish north of Jumpinpin in the 4854m depths. Kingfish and amberjack continuing further out among the 50 fathom reaches, as well as striped marlin even further out at the 90-140 metre depths.
