TOM BOSWELL’S TOP FIVE GOLD COAST MILESTONE WINS

-

Round 17, 2018, v Sydney Swans at the SCG The chips were down and they trailed by 29 points at quarter time but put together a stirring three-quarter effort to win 12.16 (88) to 8.16 (64). Round 2, 2016, v Fremantle at Subiaco

First win over Freo. The 19.12 (126) to 14.16 (100) was also the biggest score a visiting side had recorded at Domain Stadium over either Fremantle or West Coast since 2011. Round 7, 2011, v Brisbane Lions at the Gabba The 18.16 (124) to 17.14 (116) result wasn’t what the Lions predicted and it was Jared Brennan’s effort of 30 disposals and 14 clearances in the midfield that provided the foundation for the win. Round 5, 2011, v Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium

Gold Coast’s first AFL win. The Suns trailed by 40 points in the third term but

produced an amazing comeback to seal a 15.14 (104) to 15.11 (101) win after Port Adelaide’s Justin Westhoff missed a set shot after the siren. Round 3, 2017, v Hawthorn at Metricon Stadium

Gold Coast haven’t put many teams to the sword but they embarrassed Hawthorn at home on this occasion, going on to win by 86 points, 139-53, in a game that ended the Hawk’s era of dominance.
